Growing up.

A few days ago, you fell asleep without needing to nurse. You have also learned the army crawl and how to sit up from laying on your own.

Slow down. Let Mommy take it all in.

Mommy is nervous. Mommy has to start leaving you with Daddy a few days a week. Mommy has always been close by, only ever away from you for a short time. On school days, Mommy won't be able to come to you as soon as you need me. If you get hungry, Daddy will give you a cup of Mommy's milk.

Mommy is very excited to go back to school but will miss you very very much.

I'm very happy for Daddy. I know he will enjoy spending extra time with you. I'm sure he is very happy to have you all to himself sometimes.

He is a pretty great daddy. He always worries about you so he will keep a close eye on you. Give him a break and wait for mommy to need a poopy diaper change, those gross daddy out! He is a big strong, protective wimp.

When you were a tiny baby and someone else held you, Mommy would look at pictures of you in my phone. I couldn't stand to be away from you, I had to see your face. It will be hard to be away from you at school. I love you so stinking much!

Slow down your growing while mommy is away I don't want to miss a moment.
