This is for my punkin head, my little ladybug. I love you more and more everyday and this is the story of those days.

Daddy works from home, so taking you to work was kinda silly, but we took you down to the carburetor room and you watched him find the ones people bought and put them in the shipping room. It's kinda cold down there so you only helped for a little bit.
Mommy's work is taking care of you, daddy and our home, I "take you" to work with me everyday!
Usually your daddy drives, and mommy sits in the back seat, next to you, but on our trip to the coast, grandma drove so mommy and daddy both got to sit by you.
You're learning how to stick out your tongue, and make faces when people talk to you. You're mimicking the way our mouths move when we talk. Daddy had fun making faces at you.
Daddy told me to give you kisses from him, when I did, I kissed your little cheeks and you burped in my face. It was hilarious. When I told daddy, he said "it figures".
You really fought sleep tonight, we told you that our entire family will be together still in the morning, and we love you and you didn't have to stay awake to spend time with daddy. Finally you rested your little head on my shoulder and fell asleep.
Tonight we are sleeping in the middle of our bed because daddy is sleeping up at the swap meet in Portland. Every year him and Grandpa (and some others) spend the weekend up at the PIR and expo center. Daddy and grandpa buy lots of carburetors and other things to sell on eBay to make money for our family. It's a lot of work. Your daddy's back has been hurting a lot lately and I know it will be hard for him to work so much. But he will do what he can. We will take extra good care of him when he comes home.
He's a good Daddy. He will always provide for us. I'm forever grateful that he works hard so our family has what we need and so Mommy doesn't have to get a job away from you.
We made goodies for Daddy and the gang he camps with at the PIR tonight. Grandpa and Uncle Sonny will bring them up as a surprise tomorrow. You helped by sitting happy in your bouncy chair and waiting until the last batch of cookies were almost out of the oven to need some snuggles.
Daddy bought you an extra cool swing at the swap meet today. He was very proud to find you something so cool. I can't tell from this picture he sent exactly how it works but it's classic looking and when you're big enough to play on it, and eventually too big to play on it, we will remember what a great daddy you have and how much we love him ands he loves us.
